In July 2007 Hoot celebrated 5 years of music and dance to make you feel good. Many people joined us, but for those of you who couldn’t make it (or those who’d like a reminder of the day) this DVD offers a little taste of the day and is an opportunity to see and hear Hoot performances in music, dance and song. The DVD was filmed and produced by Hoot participants in collaboration with Beaumont Street Studios

That’s the Way Life Is (2006)
A beast of a double CD, released for Christmas 2006, features the best of studio and live Hoot music. The first CD features an eclectic range of tracks recorded by Hooters in the studio and the second CD is a musical feast of live recordings gathered from the Hoot open groups.

Another Planet – Studio Hoot (2006)
Starring Hoot’s longest running open group; Another Planet in Batley Carr. These tracks were recorded in the spring of 2006 and showcase the fruits of the groups labour with a range of artists in a variety of exciting musical styles.

One + One (2005)
The result of a project to let more young people know about Hoot, this CD was created by two talented young ladies, under the gentle guidance of the Hoot Studio, featuring tuneful song, keyboard and drumming.

Drumsing (2004)
A collection of songs and rhythms from around the world. Made in adverse funding conditions this album captures Hooters in live and party mode.

In Cahoots (2003)
Hoots second CD features collaborations between different people within Hoot, joining up ideas, instruments, words into ‘a beautiful shimmering hotpot of gorgeously steamy tunes, sultry ballads and moody blues’.

A practical singing guide and tuition CD compiled / written by Phil Russell, featuring tried and tested songs from around the world. Equally useful for those with little musical experience as for those wishing to extend their repertoire.
